We had Derek carry out a few key upgrades in our home: a bespoke dog wash, installing sliding barn doors, and modernising our staircase. Honestly, the difference he’s made is brilliant. The dog wash was something we really wanted done properly, and Derek completely understood the vision. The finish is incredible, and it feels like it was always meant to be there. The sliding doors glide perfectly, adding real character to the rooms, and the staircase transformation has totally lifted the space; it now feels modern, clean, and finished.

What really stood out, though, was Derek himself. He’s reliable, turns up exactly when he says he will, communicates clearly, and is just a genuinely decent, easy-going guy to have working in your home. You feel comfortable leaving him to get on with the job, which says a lot. We’re absolutely delighted with the work and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. We’ll definitely be using him again.
